Deed or Document box
Made this box last year and was sold to an elderly lady who wanted it for a 21st birthday present for a nephew. About 7 or 8 days ago she rang me if I had another one, no, so a rush job for another birthday present. Was picked up yesterday , was so pleased with it she ordered 9 more for all her nephews who will turn 21 in the next 8 or 9 years. My choice of timbers and veneers
I have about 8 months before the next birthday , but she will take the 9 boxes then and keep them until they are needed. regards NF.

Awesome looking pattern you got with the myrtle John.
Forward thinking on your clients part - hope she's around long enough to hand them all out - - - or maybe she was concerned the maker wouldn't be around to supply them to the last - you'll just have to prove her wrong eh!!

Hi Vern, I hope to hang around for a few more years. The client intends to wrap each box up with the nephews name on it , just in case she's not around to hand it on.
Been chasing tiger myrtle veneer in the right colour , good stuff is hard to come by, of all places Rivergum Timbers in QLD is sending me down 4 sheets from the same flitch. Sight unseen , so I hope its got a good figure.
cheers John. (PS, Its b------y cold down here)
