First (half decent) box
Hi, everyone, here is my contribution; the box is a generous A4 internal, and is made of recycled Tassie Myrtle, part of a wardrobe in its fist life.
The wooden hinges, corner inserts and handle, are (I think) mango, recovered from the tip!
The sides were resawn from boards 20 m/m thick, to have the grain matching all round....but then I turned the back upside down when I cut the bottom scroll.I'll be more careful next time!

Agreed, the box is really nice and the hinges are a nice touch. Well done.
Reality is no background music.

My compliments also added, (the pink effect is a nice touch as well ).

Thanks for the encouragement!
Thanks, everyone, for the kind comments; now I have to make sure the next one has less mistakes in it
I am not happy with the hinges, one of them is beginning to crak at the knucle; no solution but to rip it off and make another one, luckily I have the jig set up handy!
All in all it is an enjoyable proccess.

I would rate that as more than "half decent". Beautiful.
