    Hey There,

    I was given a job about 5 months ago to make a hanging Display Box for a Sydney 2000 Olympic Relay Torch, my client said that there was no hurry (silly Bugger), anyway, we took some measurments and I started and built a box that was 800 ID and right in all the other mearurments,(the torch is 815) so I got somemore materials and started again, then there was a kitchen cooktop upgrade (another story, and also a Bird avairy) I finally delivered the completed box today and my Client is very happy with the result,

    Made from Jarrah and measures 900 ID x 250 wide and 110 deep, the torch is mounted on blocks with 3M doublesided tape and rests on a foot screwed into the bottom of the box and has 2mm Glass to seal it off. Finished with Organoil

    Forgot to mention, the client brought the Torch at an Auction in 2001, his wife wasn't worried that I took 5 months
