    Default My dodgy first box

Bought some Veritas chisels so I decided I'd better learn how to make a box for them. Messed up one of the corners and still need to hide that adequately.

My posting is almost as dodgy as my woodworking. Meant to put this in the first post.

Looks pretty good! I need to build something similar.

Also like the look of your work bench.\

That looks like a stately home for some very nice chisels. Is the timber Jarrah?

    Nicely done.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.

Fun fact, in the early days of European settlement in Western Australia Jarrah was originally called Swan River mahogany. Sure looks like it if the mahogany on the sides and back of my Martin acoustic guitar are anything to go by.
