Thanks very much. The finish is an automotive catalized clear coat. Somewhere around 10 coats I think. The inside is Spanish Cedar. As far as the humidifier goes, the clients usually like to buy their own. In the cigar world, those analog gauges you see in the cheap humidors are never accurate. There just there to look pretty.
I'm building another one now made with Brazilian Walnut & tiger Koa. I'll post pics once it's been delivered.

    Hi Bill,
Great product and supurb detail. I particlularly like the 'keys' in the corners at the top.
I can't see, but how have you added strength in the mitred corners?
I assume it is all veneers? How many hours per box? (scary I bet!)
Beautiful work, great to see an artist.
    regards
    Billy

Thanks very much. Actually the only veneer is the burl. The duchman on the corners are all the way through. They lock the miters on the corners. The base is done with a Domino since it's not seen. This makes a big difference whenthe humidity is brought up in the humi. As far as time goes, I have no idea. I just keep working until they're done. Fortunately I don't do these for a living.
