    Default finger joints

    hi i am new to box making, i have made some with halving joints and mitre joints but would like to make more with the finger and dovetail joints by hand first. do most people use a template for the finger joints? i have searched the the net and have books but having trouble geting a crasp of the techniques.or does anyone know of any workshops happening in or around launceston.

    the best info i found when i was starting finger joints was the woodsmith timelife series of books
    especially the book on shopbuilt jigs and fixtures
    it shows the easiest jig to build for making finger joints and also a good explanation on technique
    check out your local library or 2nd hand book dealers
