    Default Firearms Case

I haven't posted something in a while but i've been busy making this Firearms Case for my Uncles birthday, the timber that i used was Claret Ash the guy i bought it off described it as being a figured grain.

I found that it was quite heavy and at times brittle whilst working with it, not sure whether its because of the way the grain is or just because of how hard it is? but on the plus side it polished up beautiful and i wanted just to have a simple looking box where the grains was the key feature.

    Thanks, James.

Very good. The only thing I would try to improve is to match up the pannels in the lid so the grain looks a bit more continuous. Other ways as I say top effort.

I thought 'lapses in concentration' were only for us older blokes! - tell them you did it to 'draw the viewer to the panels' or some such arty-farty guff
