I guess its a box :)
I got a puzzle book as a present for Christmas and decided to have a play at one. I have had the parts marked out for a while but only got around to actually playing with it today. Its not great and I have learnt a lot from this one. I will probably do another down the track but I enjoyed making it.
CorbsIt's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

It is a box!
and a puzzle...
Love it
Well done
RuddyAnd my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

Be great when you figure out how to open it. Good work never been game enough to try one myself. Well done and yes, it is a box.
Reality is no background music.

Thanks team , I took it into work today and sat it on the desk. Pretty much everyone who came in had a play with it. The first piece is pretty easy to get out, the second is the hardest and once its out the whole thing falls appart... then comes the trouble with putting it back together again
Wendy, I will more than likely make another and use a nice wood for the outside. I have some Forest Oak but it wasn't quite wide enough for the sides so will keep an eye out on that front. It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

I'm addicted to these things and buy a lot of them. My hat's off to you for actually making one.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.

I think the closest I'd get to making one, is trying to make a wooden padlock.... hence me watching on in awe

I can honestly say it wasn't that hard. If I can do it then anyone can. [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Crafting-Wood-Logic-Puzzles-Three-dimensional/dp/158923247X"]Here[/ame] is the book that I got the plan from. I had a quick google search for Burr Puzzle plans and found [ame="http://www.craftsmanspace.com/free-projects/andromeda-puzzle-plan.html"]this[/ame] too. The pieces aren't identical but they're pretty close to what I was working with.
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
