Help on box and timber
I have never made a box before and am hoping to have a go at a decent project as a first attempt. I am looking at mking a display case about 450mm long by about 300mm deep and 300mm high with 3 draws and a lift up top. Question is what sort of timber would you reccomend and where could I get some. The case I am wanting to make will end up being a display case for my pens.
Kind Regards Ian

timber
What colour and weight? Can you thickness? Do you have any ideas on timber yourself? Do you need 300mm wide or can you join? What thickness?
I can help with timber and provide red cedar, camphorlaurel or rosewood or silky oak, perhaps some others depending on your colour need.
I can bring down from the farm and meet you at Maccas Heatherbrea.
Once you have your design and cutting list, let me know and I can give you a price for various timbers
Send me a pm if you want contact details
Thanks
Greg
