Thread: Help needed - Need someone to cut Box joint for a timber camera.

I cannot believe that I am asking for help, what with being a bloke and all...

Anyway, the background: I still use film for photography, including what's known as Ultra Large Format (the piece of film is 7x17 inches).

I was given a Triton 2000 a while ago, and finally got around to trying to make a new camera for it. Think the old bellows cameras. The trouble is, the Triton's a piece of ##### that will not do accurate box/finger joints. I have built several jigs to help with this (including the Lynn Sabin one), but the pressed metal top and tool slots won't let me do this.

So, here's the request. Is there anyone out there who could cut me an approximate 300x300 box jointed frame (with thin joints like in the attached photo)? This is the only joint that I have been able to make that is remotely like I want.

I have some beautiful old Blackwood from a table top that I would like this to be made from. I know that it will need to be buzzed down to about 10-12mm.

Happy to pay in $$, beer etc. if there is someone out there.
