    Tony, that's a striking hinge. Although if that's a screw in there it brings it down a notch. Thanks for the pic.

    Al, text (only) is accessible only (I think) through the root directory/forum. In any event, pics accessible only if logged in. Posts have asked for details of hinge construction, but not yet posted.

    SMC has no sponsors, and they've been talking about membership by fee. Don't know if that's been resolved yet.

    It is a very nice detail. A pity about the screw, then again, most hinges have screws.

    Any idea what the pivoting arrangement is?
