Default Huon Pine & Tiger Myrtle

I purchased a couple of small boards from David Lynton of Melany many years ago, they have been in the I'll use later stack. Well I'll see if it makes a sale for me.

I am happy with this type of construction, the 5mm barrel hinges work very well set in with thick CA glue, 5mm brass plated rare earth magnets hold the lid closed.

A lot better & cleaner look, no trying to mortice in hinges, no external catch no mixing araldite.

    Cheers Robert P.

A very nice box, Huon Pine would have to be one of the nicest timbers to work with.
