Would I like to interview you for a new woodwork and box making podcast?
Would you like to have a chat for 5 - 45min about your interest in woodwork and especially box making?
I am quite keen to do more skype or phone interviews and to find out more about woodworking, the people who do it, what tools they use, where they meet, how they got started, techniques, events and ideas.
Initial interviews with Brendan Stemp and Michael Mogy have been recorded for the soon to be launched podcast which is being sponsored by Hardware For Creative Finishes which will be available from the blog for download and through itunes.
If you would like to find out more about the way I'm planning to structure the podcast and what is involved there is a more detailed explanation here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gd9gf80w7o...20Podcast.docx
Looking forward to hearing from you, thank you, Jeremy.

podcast is live and soon to be in itunes
We've got a few finishing changes to make to the site design but the first 3 episodes are online, Hardware for Creative Finishes
The podcast will be in the itunes directly in a day or two as well. Happy to take any feedback, good or otherwise. I have some more guests lined up and am happy to hear from others who would like to be part of the podcast. It's as simple as a chat on the phone

This should possibly also be under 'Announcements'.
Perhaps, to pique people's interest in woodworking, on the main web page a link back to these forums would be good too.... Steve

No, I don't think it could be considered spam, and Alex does reference the forums in his interview.
Edit: So do you, I just heard.
Very good - I've quite enjoyed listening to these as I worked this afternoon. Much more relevant than the radio.
Jeremy, your questions were to the point, too, and kept the interviews flowing nicely. Well done.
Special thanks to Richard, Alex and Michael for taking the time.
I'm looking forward to any future ones.... Steve

sound
you're welcome. it took me quite a few hours of listening to myself until it sort of normalised in my brain and now it doesnt sound strange any more but i do understand where you are coming from on it sounding different, when i have read about that in the past its because you hear your voice from through the bones in your head partially when you speak but when its recorded it sounds higher and also over the phone it loses some tonality.
