It's terrific. Thank you for detailing its construction. I learned a few things about morticing hinges.

Love it! Great work, and I enjoyed the progress reports.

So Bill, did it get delivered and do you know how it was received ( no doubt they were overjoyed)?

Box delivered safe and sound. Brenda "the recipeint" spoke with me on the phone as I wasn't the person to hand deliver it to her, and told me she absolutely loved it. She went on and on about it's construction, but hey..I'm just a sawdust maker, what pops out is more luck than skill

She really liked the contrasting woods of English Sycamore and Purpleheart. Which kind of is a good thing since she didn't have a choice in it.

I'll try and get her to snap a pic of it in her home, filled with jewelry. That'll be the real test, huh. To know that's it's being used for something other than kindling, of which they have a huge fireplace.

Let's stick to the truth here, Bill. You are a very talented crafter of wood. I doubt that anything has just "popped out" of your shop.

Excellent Bill, glad she loved it, but truthfully, what's not to like!
