Thread: Job - Large Box Quote

Hey Guys.

I have been searching for quiet a while now looking for a relatively affordable large hinged display box. And I thought I may see if any one on this forum may be able to supply a quote for what I am after.

I have put together the basic design with a few details in the attached imagery. The box does not have to be finished timber (no varnish etc), I pretty much just need it partial assembled, and by that I mean constructed but the lid does not need to be hinged/fitted.

Now in the image where there is a "?" next to the dimensions, this basically means I am not sure if there is milled wood at that size, but basically placing in dimensions I am roughly after. I would like a dark hardwood, but I happy to resort to a cheaper wood if any one has some available.

In terms of budget, I really can not afford a lot, and by "a lot" i mean something which costs a couple hundred dollars etc. So this may be a very non-enticing job as I know such items today have big numbers on the price tag but I thought I might see if anyone here can do it.

So if anyone is interested please PM. I am after a total quote which includes materials, labour etc. And I would need the item shipped once completed as well, but that cost can be calculated later.
