    Default A keepsake box 18th birthday present

    This is the last of the jewellery/keepsake boxes for four nieces, son, and daughter 18th birthday presents completed. This is a hand carved solid Blackwood and rock maple box. It is a spline mitred box fitted out as a jewellery box.

    It certainly tested my skills, particularly the relief carving. Luckily I had good advice from some talented carvers in my woodwork club.
