    Default lectern writing slope/box plans

To give something back I am posting my working plans for the writing box I am making. Anyone can use them for personal use but should be aware of the following caveats:

    1) These are working plans and so have yet to be tested in wood
    2) The box is designed around A4 paper - it will fit in the draw and also the lid.
    3) Things like the two flap pieces and the drawer only have a 1mm fudge allowance
    4) The inkwells this is designed for are square based 38mm by 44mm tall (Clear Cut Glass Inkwell Antique Reproduction by Doorway Publications - Shop Online for Stationery in Australia)
    5) you use at your own risk of course
    6) not all the detail is there yet.
    7) timber shown is 14mm thick and 10mm thick - I have a thicknesser so can please myself.
    8) all or most of the joints are mitre because all the antique boxes I have seen use mitre joints - but you can of course please yourself.

    I hope this helps someone

    Cheers Paul
