You could also make your own with a hollow punch and icecream container or like. If you intend to drill the centre hole then do this first by clamping the plastic between two wood scraps and drilling through. If you try to drill thin plastic with a twist drill it will lift on the bit.

Hi Bob, I've used the tubing out of different household sprayers.I cut the size spacer I want with a razor blade to the thickness I need, maybe you could give it a try,thats if your using small diameter pins?

Thanks for the suggestions. I now have a few options to evaluate. Don, I had a look at the washers at the WW show today. They could have been adapted (read cut in half to reduce the thickness) if the hole was not so large - 1/4" diameter. I am looking for about 1/8".

Bought a shower head repair kit for about $6 at bunnings the other day it came with about 20-30 different sized plastic washers.

I have made them before using different sized hole punches, the kind they used to use to punch cards or lunch tickets etc. Most come in 5/16" holes and 1/8" holes or about that size. I punch 1/8" hole in a plastic lid from a plastic container. Then place that hole in the center of the larger punch and pop out a washer. Usually takes a bunch of tries to get one centered but I make a pile and sort out the good ones. I also make rubber washers the same way using the paper punch and then a larger steel punch made by sharpening the end of a piece of pipe. Pound the punch into endgrain of a log will make great round disc.
