    Default Maple and Padauk

    Lidded bowl measuring 4-1/2" diameter X 1-3/4 deep.
    Finished with 6 coats of Minwax Clear Satin Poly and
    polished with Hut Ultra Gloss.
    As always comments and or suggestions appreciated.

    How did you keep the paduk from bleeding on the maple when you sanded it?

    I used paduk and maple on a box before. I sanded and the maple ended up with some rusty overtones.

    Not a problem when the Padauk lid is a separate piece from the maple bowl and maple lid knob.
