Medal box
I've made a number of boxes for this collector of militaria. This one is made from rose mahogany, with WRC insert to support the card with medals.

I think he does quite enough research of his own, FF. I've done quite a few boxes for him, plus a wall unit and he's talking about a duelling pistol box later.

Well done Alex, these style of box look really nice. I like the proportions.
Can you tell us a bit about the lid please? Solid or veneered? Looks like there is some edge joining too
The hinges are a pretty tight fit for that box side thickness, nice work getting away with that !regards,
