New motifs
I make my own motifs to fit into box lids and also in the bottom of my bowls. I recently saw a Japanese video of a Japanese craftsman making paper thin veneer marquetry panels to face off his boxes. I use a similar process to manfacture these "logs". I cut off about a millimetre to set into box lids etc. Had a very enjoyable day making these.
