Myrtle,Australian Cedar and Celery Top Pine hinged box.
This is a box i made two years ago for a project in grade eight.
thought i would show off my terrible skills.
The top is made from a piece of australian cedar my dad found on an old chest of draws. Joined with halving joints then Rabbeted for top and bottom to sit in.
finished with french pollish and beeswax.
had fun with this and learnt alot of skills that i would learn the next year in woodwork at school :P.
i hope the photos work.
comments appreciated
