    Default Octagonal Box

After a crappy year overcoming cancer, I finally got back to making a box for number 2 daughter. Finished just in time for Christmas

Box and tray sides done with a shooting board with donkey's ear, and trim work with a second shooting board. Marquetry knife cut. 95mm a side, and 140mm high.

That's a very beautiful and unique piece. The colours kind of remind me of South American type folk art.

More importantly, congratulations on the good news Chris!

    Best Wishes,
    Matt.

Absolutely beautiful to say the least.

Also glad to hear you overcame cancer and hope you have many more years to do first class woodwork.
