We have a triangle island bench with a granite top that is similar to the one you had there.

Why did you make the grain line up from one box to the next & then make them different colours?

    Hi Benny.

I was curious: Is the kettle in the background half-full, or half-empty.

Be careful how you answer this, as it will give everyone on the forum a deep understanding of your shallow personality.

You'll find hard Shellac and some EEE gives a far better finish than Satinproof. Applied with a soft cloth and cut to about 50%, then finished with EEE, it's amazing.

Even Wipe-on poly is good if you want a poly finish.

It's time for you to visit our beloved forum host's website I think.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Have a bag of Shellac flakes in the cupboard, just need to get some good rubber material etc. I restored Mum's old HMV a while back. Casing as well as the internals, sounds great.
