    Question What burl is this?

I bought the two veneers at least five years ago and forgot the source. I have a feeling both may be Tasmanian.

From the outside I would guess Tasmanian Myrtle based on the nature of the figuring and the color, but after seeing the inside it looks like there might be a gum vein on one of those interior walls? If that's the case them maybe it's Tasmanian Oak/Swamp Gum? Eucalyptus regnans.

Hope that helps. It's a shot in the dark.

    Good luck,
    Luke
