    Default a quickie tb.

Knocked up a carcass yesterday but it is a bit thin in the waist.

So cut a contrasting piece of timber and routed it as follows.

I ought to go back in the W/S and do the lid tonight but got a pre. med. in the morning for that cataract op.

Back from the hospital re eyes, instead of a cataract operation I am going for eyelid adjustment initially hoping this will alleviate the minor cataract ailment.

At the present time I am very happy in the W/S and sticking with tissue boxes, although I do need another sidetable to match an earlier one constructed, and the tissue boxes seem constantly to be on my mind thinking of new patterns etc.

I have thought of making a box which holds four cartons of tissues that would distribute from either side and present to our local doctors surgery.

Hope you all over there are still interested to see my efforts.

Got another box on the go as well (logcabin) but got this box lid fitted and will clean up later today.
The timber used is something like an obeche, this piece is disgusting to plane, the grain picks up however it is worked, so hoping it will sand and be presentable.

I must admit I struggled out to the W/S last evening, I think the weather for going in the workshop is unsuitable for us older ages, the reason being I think there is less oxygen available so perhaps older persons are more lethargic.

So I just made do with giving the box a coat of shellac.
The timber used btw was oak flooring plus Idigbo and wenge for my decorative effects.

This morning put on the wax.

The last three boxes set up.

Hope you liked them. Will start on the log
