    Hi and thanks Peter,

I changed brands of resin maybe half a dozen times when I first started 3 or so years ago. For some time now I use a casting resin called Oakfield Clear Clarity Cast epoxy resin. I love it, the woman who owns the business and also makes huge resin tables etc, is very helpfull. She's answered a heap of my questions over time. That is the casting resin which I pour to make the rivers etc.

For the flood coat on top I use Stone Coat Countertop resin, a 1:1 mix. 2 coats, first coat is like a sealing coat, sand that back after 24 hours to 240 grit. Second coat sets like glass, amazing.

Very classy looking box Paul. The contrast between the Huon, the resin and the Rosewood really sets it off. Easy to see why it didn't make it to Etsy.
