Thread: Budget display box

The wife does cruise ship markets, I go along as moral support and check over the female clientel
One of the things that sell well are fridge magnets that she makes from MDF glued to discarded old fridge magnets. We bought 1000 for $10.

She is an artist and therefore a lot of her presentation rattles my cage about looking presentable and professional.
There is a carboard box with a large biscuit tin lid that she puts them on. sweat grief what a bodgey display, so me says I'll make something presentable....

The attached drawing is not to size but 120H x300D x 400W this is 6mm MDF cut on her big lazer cutter One of the things this beast does well is finger joints the lid will be slightly oversize to fit over the box when not in use.

I am thinking of piano himge as the join but want the lid to stand at 60*-70* not 90* but stumped as to get the lid to stay at that level.
