Yet another sewing box
Received this commission from a friend who's very much into quilting. Originally, it was going to be made in coachwood, but when I cleaned the board up it was very bland, so we went with Australian red cedar and huon pine. I've suggested dividers for the top trays, and am waiting for her response.

Very neat indeed
That looks great. It reminds me of an "insect with attitude" (in the modern jargon) even though they have six legs and this has four. Was that intentional or am I out on a limb?
It is interesting to see so many different takes on a sewing box design. Yours has a much higher emphasis on joinery skills than mine, which relies on the figured timber much more for effect.
Cedar and Huon are a great combination with such a lovely contrast, especially when new.
