    just came across this thread. Absolutely gobsmaked with the box alex.

    Love the design - neat and elegant but with anough extra going on to really add interest. And the execution is of course flawless

    Can you please tell us how you curved the silky oak lid panel and the jarrah holding frame?

    Both were laminated and bent round a male form. Slots for the panel were cut on the router table, and the curve on the ends of the carcass were marked from the lid frame.
