Camphor Laurel Boxes
Hi All,
I've attached a few photos of my last two boxes for your amusement. I'm still only a beginner at this and have a lot of skills to get under my belt - especially placing these barrel hinges. My plan is try another hinge type...
Both boxes have a camphor laurel body. The first set of photos have a solid red cedar lid which I find particulary beautiful. The second set is a slightly larger box with Queen Ebony lid with huon pine inlay.

Nice inlay on the red cedar.
Good looking box's.
Weather in Scotland improving.
Cleaned the workshop yesterday in anticipation!

Did you have difficulties with the hinges? Did you follow the instuctions from the library under "Box Bits"?
