    Wow.

    A few inside photos?

I like your website. The video is amazing.

Perhaps if you have the time, a few photos and methods you used for construction?

I've always found trouble getting good hinges, but these jewel encrusted ones with frilly leaves take the cake!

This work transcends an object into an artefact. I really enjoyed watching the video and the limited info on the site. Frigyes Art Main page

What is a shame is that the steps weren't photographed. That is something I really love. A bespoke box maker in Italy (Agresti) did this for me a while ago and I really appreciated seeing the steps. They enhanced the artisans image. Some might be embarrassed by their messy or spartan workshops, or even how mundane some of the processes are, but when you see the final product it only gives you more respect for the craftsman/artisan.

Holland and Holland of England hand make shotguns. Their work is utterly mesmerising: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLxDRb7yWnw and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUXoNUzAyvk

The Agesti video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-aVWxgPn2A

This kind of work by Frigyes is this kind of level.

Its a pinacle art, a transcendent piece and if it can be continued it will be an amazing business.

Maybe one day we will be treated to some build shots or a video

There is a greatly over-used word that is needlessly applied to many things these days - awesome. I've come to hate the word but I find that I'm so much in awe of what has been achieved here that no other word seems adequate. I'm staggered by the range of skills and the quality on display in both the box and the cue.

Quite aside from my woodwork I've been a modeller for much of my life and it's beyond my comprehension that the inlay cut-outs in the cue could have been done with a simple hobby knife .... and that hinge - Wow!

    Beautiful work Frigyes, congratulations.

    Rex
