    Default Another simple box

    Some time back I acquired some American burl veneer, some of which was maple. This box was made with some of that veneer. The base material is 8mm ply faced both sides with veneer. The edges are west Australian jarrah, as is the handle on the lid. The box is 225mm x 125mm and 50mm deep. Finished with several coats of sanding sealer and two sprayed coats of lacquer.
