Source for box chains
I have seen jewellers chains for holding the lid just past 90,they appear purpose made as the have small rings on each end for fixing a screw to the box, instead of just cutting the chain to suit and fixing through the chain. they look neat. anyone know how to source locally?have tried the 90 hinges , they are a real pain to install and the local ones i bought were poorly made , not square and unusableWhile im on the forum, humbly will include some recent box efforts, thanks ,Rossco

Woodsurfer some of our boxmakers are now using "tiger wire" between two screws. It is available from beading suppliers and seems to work quite well. Yeah inaccurately made hinges make the job of fitting them a pain. Brusso brand are accurate but the price is astounding!!
