Oh thanks for reminding me. I have a concern. The washer over the arbour that holds the blade does not touch the bushes. Doesn't that mean there's a good chance the bush will just fall out again? Are the bushes supposed to be glued into the blades? I think I've missed something fundamental here.

That is normal, its meant to only grip the sawblade around the perimeter.
Never had a bush come adrift but the sper glue suggestion is an excellent idea.

Well, I have now used this blade (Forrest Woodworker II) enough to make a judgement. The scantily clad female did not lead me astray. This blade is by far the best I've ever used, and I've used a lot. Cross cutting, ripping, cutting flat bottom kerfs, this blade excels at everything I throw at it. It cuts hard rock maple and cherry without burning and cuts stringy timber like mahogany cleanly. It is whisper quiet too. I intend to purchase another immediately so that I may always have one in my table saw when the other is out being sharpened. I cannot imagine myself ever needing a better blade.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.
