    Default Tasmanian Myrtle

Just a standard design box here. Don't want to take the attention away from the lovely Tasmanian Myrtle.

Gees, that is a spectacular piece of wood, and I like the way you have done the lid. How did you hinge it? Fitting hinges seems to take a lot of time to get it right, and you only get one go on special wood like this.

That is certainly a special piece of timber. Love that wave effect in the top panel.
You have done just what should be done with something that fancy.

Absolutely! Beautiful box, doubleD. Is the lift actually just a lift or is it a catch as well? What finish did you use?

I think that your text is spot on .... with a piece of timber like that you need to let it shine.

Your design looks to be refined and you have been able to achieve the high degree of workmanship required to showcase the timber.

    More please.
