    Default Tassie Blackwood Work Box

    Hi all,

Another work box, but this one is Tassie Blackwood, with American Walnut inlay and tray. The top panel is Brush Box. The border is highly figured Red Gum. The shine is spectacular! The corners on this box are mitred, not dovetailed.
The Blackwood has a beautiful shimmer to it and the Brush Box gives an unusual light pink colour.
The box is about 450 x 220 x 185. It's finished using hard burnished Teak Oil. Just love burnished oil finish..so cool!!

    Regards,

    Rob

Thank you all for the kind comments. The Blackwood on this box is just beautiful.

Delbs, I think I may have some WIP photos from one of the earlier boxes I made. I'll post them under their own title if I have.

    Regards,

    Rob
