Teak and Banksia Nuts
The box is made from Teak and Banksia Nuts and the mitre keys and borders are from Purpleheart. I have been experimenting with this hinge concept and it is basically the same as the Art Deco box I posted earlier except this time the hinge goes the full width on a lidded box.
The hinge, finger lift on the lid and the handle on the tray are all from a crushed acrylic that was chosen to compliment the Purpleheart. The box and tray are lined with a red pigskin suede.
