    I keep coming back to this thread as an example (at least to me) of a really nice and proportioned jewellery box.

    i hope you did well with it.

    i do have a question(s). What thickness was the timber used in the box, liner, tray sides and base?

    Hi George. I like the look of thin walls, so the box sides would have been 11mm, the tray sides & base 5mm, the liner 3mm and the bottom would have been 5 or 6mm. These are dressed dimensions, and sanding would have taken a little off.
