    Default A tiny pill box

    Here are some photos -

    Dimensions are 60mm x 18mm x 35mm - the base is blue gum and the lid is brushbox. Finish is shellac and wax (Ubeaut of course). This one is only a prototype, but I reckon I might make some nice gifts based on it.

    The idea came from a report by Kari Hultman of Roy's session at the Woodwork in America Hand Tools conference. His subject was "Dovetails, the Details". The idea of the swivelled top holding the sliding part closed appealed to me.
