    OK, I rescued it, used orbital sanders with 60grit and 120grit plus took photographs whilst the shellac was still damp.

    I think airfare will be quite a bit with the Olympics currently happening. I expect the returning airfare might be a fair bit cheaper then normal.

    Couple of maintennce jobs next, new wooden patio floor for the cabin and a neighbour wants her artboard cut down, its getting too heavy for her.

    Nice one, John. Have you thought of doing one that goes from dark to light coloured timber from bottom to top?

    Thanks for that one Alex. I will try and get round a timber merchant perhaps, but timber selection here in my part of the UK is take it or leave it.
