Some veneered boxes.
I was given a sample pack of various veneer sheets that were all approx A4 size. I drew up this curved shape design and cut two contrasting sheets at once using the scroll saw.
The veneer pieces were glued to some 6mm ply and then made into simple boxes. The boxes are lined with a pigskin suede.

The square box is made with approx 4mm veneer that was glued to tempered masonite.

Where can one even buy pig skin suede? Sounds very expensive.

Well done, Ruddy, these are spectacular. some great craftmanship too. I like the way the veneer goes from top to the sides continuously
