Hi Double.d
Is your panel insert captive,or have you made an allowance for it to move ?
I would let it stabilize for a while and if there is no change then you may need to resort to a block plane and make some adjustments.
Would probably take most off the base of the box so the difference in the height of the side won't be noticable.
looks like the twist in the lid is only slight.
There is no guarantee there won't be any more movement but you might just be ok.
Alternatively you could remove the lid and try applying weights on one corner, probably won't work though but might be worth a try

Thanks Mark. The inlay was loose until I filled in the gap with a Tassie oak strip. Can't remove the lid as it has timber hinges that have been glued and dowelled in. Guess i'll just have to put this one down to experience.
