... there's laws against that in all Australian mainland states !
The invoice says Birdsall Leather and Crafts but I was in such a state of confused ecstacy last night that that's not the name I remembered on the website? They also had a whole section on bookbinding leathers ... and tools ... YUM!

The pigskin suede has arrived from Birdsall's and it is beautiful! As google is my friend (and I don't know where AlexS is...) I looked up heat reactivation of Titebond 3 and found the following gem.......

Until Alex had mentioned it, I wouldnt have even thought of ironing to reactivate PVA type glues but it appears to be a well known technique amongst THE INFORMED
So, I now have the beautiful suede, I've joined THE INFORMED (= 12 hour window and set iron on "cotton or linen") ..... I'd better make another box ... or 4 !
