Hi Rosuconstantin these picture of your work are a credit to you they look just great. Do you work off planes or just make it out of your head as you go.

Default my wooden boxes- american wallnut fagus meranty

I started from some boxes images. It was necessary to resize the plans because my blade has 8 mm thickness and i cant turn verry short. Thanks for apreciating my work.

    Default My wooden boxes

I was inspired from images on the internet, but it was necessary to resize the boxes and change the form a little bit, because my bandsaw has a blade with 8 mm thickness. I used fagus, american wallnut and meranti to obtain zebrano effect.
Thanks for appreciating my work and i will post here my new projects.

Hi Rosuconstantin I am pleased to hear from you again you were saying that the timber you used Fagus, american walnut and meranti I have heard of these timber except Fagus which I have looked up and I have found its also called Fagus sylvatica, the European Beech or Common Beech.
Is this timber commonerly used timber in your region like Pine is in our country, and did you have to get the american walnut and meranti from america if this was the case the postage must have been expensive I know if I get things the america this is the case.
I have made a few things if you go to my album you can see them it takes me a long to time to make things I am very slow but I happy with what I have done. I have not started to make boxes yet maybe in a couple of months when I finsh some other projects that I have been at for a while.

I buy wood from a local deposit: Home-RO: Frischeis Romānia
It is a international company and yes the exotic wood was expensive. Cant wait to see your unfinished projects.
