writing box stay
Hi,
I am researching doing a repro of an 18th century writing box. All of them use a specific type of lid stay that consists of a brass prop similar to a hinge with one side un-perforated and longer used to prop up the lid. This side then slots into the top of the box into a perforated brass plate. Picture: Georgian Dobson Solid Mahogany Lectern Writing Box. | 251623 | Sellingantiques.co.uk
Does anyone know a supplier for these stays? I have looked and failed.
Cheers Paul
