Keller dovetail jig
So I watched a utube video on this thing looked easy to make so I purchased it. Today I tried it for the first time, when u screw the jig to your board the screws stick out and when you run through router it rocks back and fourth.
Second I made a dove tail box and it came out ok I guess for first try. But some joints were loose any idea how to fix them so they r snug on next one I make?
I’d put a picture but I don’t see how to add, thanks for the help.

Template based dovetail jigs all rely on the size of the pins to determine joint fit. The piece of timber that you use for the fence, the board that you've attached to the template, must be straight, of a reasonable height (say a minimum of 3") to provide adequate support for your stock, wide enough to support and stabilise the template, and be fixed to the template at a consistent distance from the front of the pin guide fingers. You adjust the fit by moving the fence in (for a tighter fit) or out (for a looser fit). Once you've got it set it shouldn't have to be changed unless you change cutters.
One of the problems with all these template based jigs is that the fence becomes a consumable part that will require changing from time to time unless you're able to attach a sacrificial face to it. You would need to reset the fit every time you change the fence. I don't understand why the screws would stick out, would need a picture to understand what you're describing. These types of jigs work very well when used on a router table.
