I’ve built a router table using this lift kit as well, in my eyes was identical to the other units incra make etc but half the cost.

What router body are you using in it? I put the AUK variable speed body in. Great unit

    Cheers

Never had a dedicated table router before so was cooking my self for it for quite sometimes. End up getting
    generic Carbatec from totaltools.
    • BRAND: Carbatec Motor: 2400W (3-1/4HP) input / 1800W (2-1/2HP) output - Universal
    • Diameter: 106.7mm (~4-13/64")
    • Collet Sizes: Included 1/4" and 1/2"
    • Variable Speed: Yes 10,000 - 22,000 RPM

    Building a table right now.

    Nice one good to hear

I’ve moved my routing setup over to my combination machine. Working well so far

Think I’ll sell my standalone router table soon

    Cheers

Yeah, I got the problem to solve now.
My table is a square 1m 20 wide and long. Build in mind to process long and wide pieces.
Cannot find a wood material for router fence that long which will remain un bent and untwisted due to weather. So far the only option is to downgrade to smaller table which will defeat the purpose of dedicated table router.. Or looking at your setup looks like an answer.

This is just a new kreg router too I haven’t modified it, I’ll be installing the incra clean sweep soon and then consider listing it forsale

    Cheers

Why not use aluminium extrusion for the fence?
