Low budget jigs
I'm not sure this is the best place to put this post but I guess it can always be moved...
I have been following a thread by a bloke who made a low budget router jig, & some body else posted that they too are starting out on a low budget & was also going to make a box making jig.
I remember when I first started my wood working journey that I was also on a very low budget.
This can be for many reasons, being stoney ass broke not being the only one. When we start a new hobby, we are not alway sure how far it will take us & so with money being typicaly tight, we don't want to start out by throwing thousands of dollars at a project that may not even get finished.
This forum is a wealth of knowledge & many people here are very happy to help, but when you post that you are about to make a jig etc, it would also be a good idea to post what tools and facilities etc you have available to you. The advice given may be different if you have a particular tool.
SteveThe fact remains, that 97% of all statistics are made up, yet 87% of the population think they are real.
