Default Monday Night Thread. On the T Track.

I wasn't sure where to put this so I thought that if I put it in here &&&& called it the Monday night thread, somebody would tell me where to go & how to get there, or at the very least, show me.

    Now, where was I???

    Searches on this forum.
If, for instance, I remember seeing something using T Track (that I thought was a good idea) but I didn't write it down so it in now lost inside my head with 48 years worth of crud & 7396 litres of red wine (& a bit of rum)... back to the question... how do I find it?

Searches seem to find everything with the word 'track' in it & 'cos we's ozzies, we say 'track' a bloody lot.

    How do you?
    Cliff.

Ta, don't mind if I do, cup of tea that is.... the jig you reckon?
It was a fence on a router table or a table saw.
If you use any (or all) of those words in search on this forum, you get 9,657,345,219 hits.
Mind you, I also get hit for some of the things I say so make that 9,657,345,219,376 hits.

Maybe is wasn't on this forum, maybe it was in a book I read.
I only have about 9 books on routers & saws, it might be quicker to look there first.

PS. Just found another name for it.... Mitre Track

I would think a good starting place might be in the jigs section. A search for 'track', results in 63 hits. A quick skim will see if anything leaps out at you.

    Ta, I'll try that next.

I did find some pics in the Router Table thread from 11 months ago so I gave it a bump.

Cliff, one thread along those lines that stuck in my mind: Router Fence Design

    And another alias: mitre rail

Yeap, it even has some meaning about it so it is 'meaningful drivel'

I not have about 20 photos of ideas from all over the place... 'spose I should have noted where to tell anyone else who is interested instead of just nicking the photos.... bit like tearing the page out a mag at the doctor's 'ey?
